The CMRC Nationals get back underway after an almost three week break. Round 5 takes place this
upcoming Sunday July 18th at the famous Gopher Dunes MX Track near Tillsonburg, Ontario. Team Royal Distributing Thor Dragon Fuels KTM will have a full roster of riders under the tent this upcoming National and is looking forward to a great weekend of racing.
If you are in the area later this week come out to Royal Distributing this Thursday evening. Factory Royal Distributing Thor Dragon Fuels KTM Motocross & ATV team riders and staff will be there signing autographs at the Guelph location from 6 PM to 8 PM. Royal Distributing will be hosting the team along with the race hauler at their weekly Thursday night ride nights. Please drop by for an autograph and an up close look at the all new 2011 350 SX-F. As the National series picks up again team Royal Distributing Thor Dragon Fuels KTM has focused on getting their riders rested and healed up to finish the season on a strong note. 2008 MX2 Champion Eric Nye is currently in Montreal where he will be training and riding until the Gopher Dunes round. Eric was in the race shop today and shared some pretty big news with all of us and as a result KTM Canada would like to congratulate Eric and his new fiancée Lindsay on their recent engagement.
Kornel Nemeth has been busy on the break back in his home Country of Hungary. He has been riding sand tracks and dialing in his suspension for the Gopher round. Kory as we call him is determined to be a podium contender for the remaining rounds of the series. Joining the team for the Eastern rounds as Nemeth’s new mechanic will be none other than seasoned veteran Mario Rivard. Speaking of echanics the KTM crew wishes Cliff Delage a big get well soon as it seems he had a mishap on his mountain bike.
Royal Distributing Thor Dragon Fuels KTM’s Canadian riders Ryan Millar, Kate McKerroll and Kyle McGlynn
have also had a busy past few weeks. Millar took advantage of his close proximity to the USA and went racing some local events south of the border winning everything he entered. His shoulder is now on well on its way to being healed and Millar will now focus on getting some top consistent finishes. On the west coast McGlynn has been busy trengthening his injured shoulder and he says he will be good to go by the weekend. Kyle has been riding for the past month as well as teaching MX Schools in his home town of Grande Prairie, Alberta. Despite some rumors of a nasty injury couple of weeks ago at an Ontario Provincial Royal Distributing Thor Dragon Fuels KTM’s Kate McKerroll will be on the line in Ste-Julie. Kate has been training and racing local events all summer and is looking forward to the first round of the Eastern Canadian Ladies National.
